Simulation of Passenger Flow in Paris Metro

Simulating the flow of passenger in every section of the Paris metro network.

What is this?

This is a simulation of the average yearly passengers travelling between each station of the Paris metro network based on the yearly entries given for each station by the RATP Open Data (2016). This indicates where to expect the most crowds on a given line. As an example, the most used section is between Réaumur-Sébastopol and Etienne Marcel on line 4 with an estimated 113 millions passenger per year travelling between those 2 stations every year.

See methodology for explanations.
